Dr Dimitrios Gounopoulos
Dr Dimitrios Gounopoulos (Reader in Accounting and Finance, Department of Business and Management) will shortly publish an article on Columbia Law School's Blue Sky Blog after being approached by the blog's editor.
The article - titled 'The Effect of Regulatory Alteration on Management Earnings Forecast?' and co-written with Arthur Kraft (Cass Business School) and Frank Skinner (Brunel University) - was invited after Ilya Berlin (the blog's Editor-at-Large) read a recent paper co-authored by the trio ('Voluntary vs. Mandatory Management Earnings Forecasts in IPOs') and commented to Dimitrios: 'Your article struck me as identifying an insightful experiment for assessing the relative desirability of mandatory earnings forecasts'.
