88% of employed 2014 BMEc alumni in graduate-level jobs, says DLHE survey
The results of the annual Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) reveal that 88% of employed 2014 graduates of the School of Business, Management and Economics were in graduate-level jobs six months after graduation.
Head of School Professor Steven McGuire commented:
"This impressive figure offers further proof of the School's commitment to preparing our students for the careers they aspire to. It is also testament to the continued dedication of our excellent Placements and Business Liaison team, whose work in facilitating and overseeing a highly successful placements scheme has clearly paid dividends in terms of giving our students the extra experience needed to land a job in their chosen field.

Our 2014 graduates have gone on secure employment and experience in a huge number of exciting roles, including Project Manager at UBS Investment Bank, Marketing Officer at IBM, Business Analyst at Lloyds Banking Group, Associate at Deloitte and Economics Intern with the Civil Service.
