Local transport

Trains

Trains run between Brighton rail station and Falmer station every 15 minutes and the journey time is eight minutes. Falmer station is directly opposite the University campus. Pedestrian access is through a subway under the A27 road – follow the signs the University of Sussex (the University of Brighton also has a campus at Falmer). The cost of a single ticket is £2.30.

Buses

Bus #23 and #25 run from the Old Steine (near the pier) in Brighton to/from the University of Sussex campus. The buses run every 10-15 minutes and the journey time is about 30 minutes. There is also a night bus (#N25). The cost of a single ticket is £2.20, but daily saver tickets (offering unlimited travel) are available for £4.00. Taxis

I suggest you instruct the driver to collect/deliver you at Bramber House on the University of Sussex campus: make sure you specify the University of Sussex (not the University of Brighton). Bramber House is a 1-minute walk from the New Academic Building. Numbers of local taxi operators include:
